HE IS RISEN!

Happy 1st Easter to our sweet sweet Blessing, Weston!

Weston had a great 1st Easter! We started the day at Antioch Community Church with some friends and then went to our friends parents house, the Robisons' for Easter lunch. We have gone to their house many Sundays after church, and we always leave fat and happy! We had ham, potato salad, corn casserole, asparagus, salad, rolls, frozen fruit bars, and coconut cake for dessert...YUM! The Easter bunny must have known we were going to eat with Scott and Jen because we each got a sweet surprise...
Weston got a rubber ducky and teether and Wes and I got some candy! Thanks Mrs. Robison!

I was able to talk Wes into a few pictures before we left the Robison's house!

Weston is already taking after Wes by not liking all the pictures! Too bad, cause I LOVE them!

We returned home after our delicious lunch to relax and watch the final round of the Masters. While daddy watched the Masters, Weston and I decided to dye some Easter eggs! However, we had an afternoon thunderstorm that knocked our cable out for a while, so Wes ended up joining us and dying some eggs! Weston has a great time (as did Wes and I!)

Weston also got his first Easter card from his Great-GranMarty and Temp! They sent him a card and some Easter $! They are always so thoughtful! Wes and I of course had to get Weston an Easter basket, and I had the pleasure of filling it up!! We love our little "golden egg!"

Weston got several things in his Easter basket for the beach this July!

Here are a few more pictures from Weston's 1st Easter Sunday! We love you Weston and are so grateful for you! Thank you Jesus for the blessings of the cross. May we always be reminded of your unconditional love for us!

Praising Jesus!

A visit from a student!

One of my most favorite students, Drew Magers, came to visit me on Wednesday, April 4th! His mom is a favorite too! She was there the night we checked into the hospital and then came again once Weston was born! She's been a mentor, on many levels. She's amazing! She brought her 2 sweet boys, Drew and Ben out for a visit. I LOVED getting to spend some time with them! I ended up taking them on a short ride, which they both enjoyed. Anne entertained Weston for me, so I got to play with the horses too! They brought me the sweetest gift, my favorite kind, homemade! Each egg had a sweet note, one from Anne, one from Ben, and one from Drew...precious! Thankful to have taught Drew and for Anne's friendship! I'll miss the Magers!

Brave Ben who kept asking, "Mrs. Williams can we go faster?"

He asked if I'd take a picture of him hugging Zan!!

Sweet Sweet Drew!!

Road Trip #2

Weston has now been to another place...Lakeway, TX (West of Austin!) Wes played with Big Creek in the Road Masters golf tournament and Weston and I decided to drive down and stay a night with daddy at Lakeway Inn! We had a blast! We went to dinner with Mark, Jenna, and Kaylee Thursday night and then while the boys played golf today, the girls (and Weston) went shopping at Barton Creek. Wes and Wade finished 3rd place overall! It's so much fun taking Weston to new places, even if he has no clue where he is, I appreciate the change of scenery! Here are a few photos from our short stay!

Our room with a lake view! Weston seems to be enjoying it! =)

Love Love Love him!

Daddy was glad we came to stay with him!!

SOO Proud of My Daddy!

Wes went to Ravenna, TX this past weekend to run Cutter in the Metro Alliance Trial. He went up early Saturday morning and made it through the first 2 series all by himself! His goal was to just make it through the 1st series, which he did! Since he made it through the 2nd series, he drove up again Sunday morning to run the 3rd! Cutter did great on the blind and got called to the 4th and final series!! Cutter lined up for the 4th series and smoked the retired birds and she got herself a JAM! (Jam means she finished but didn't place 1st-4th). It's quite an honor because this was only Wes' 5th time to run in an all age stake event! He did great! We are SO proud of him for surpassing his goal! Now he and Cutter girl are ready to run in opens together! Way to go Wes and Cutter! We love you both!

Cutter LOVES her daddy!!

As Handsome as they come!

MR. Whitaker wanted to feel worth something too, so we let him get in there with the Champion!

My 2nd Month!

 One Healthy Boy!!

Tummy Time!

How I feel when dad leaves for work.

March 25th, 2012 Weston turned 2 months!!

Hard to believe that our sweet boy is already 2 months! It truly is amazing how fast time flies. That being said, I'm trying my best not to blink too long! Wes and I are enjoying every single second of life with this sweet blessing!

At 2 months....

Weston weighed 12lbs. 10oz at his 2 month checkup and was 22.5 inches!
He gained 10 oz in ONE week! He had gone in a week prior to his 2 mo. checkup due to a cold :/ but he was at least eating well!

Daily Schedule
Weston is such a good baby! He is staying awake a lot longer now, which I LOVE! I'm enjoying getting to know his sweet little personality more! He is already on a consistent schedule. He wakes up everyday around 5am to nurse then falls back asleep until 8am. He will nurse again at 8 and then he's up until his 10 o'clock nap. The morning is one of my favorite times with Weston. He is so snugly and sweet during this time! We usually read a bible story and then another book and listen to worship music together. He usually gets sleepy again around 10 and will sleep anywhere from 1-1 1/2 hours. Depending on when he wakes, he will nurse again and then will stay awake until around 1:30. His afternoon nap he sleeps a good 3 hours! He will nurse when he wakes usually around 4:30 or so and then we wait for Daddy to come home! He will nurse again around 7:30. He gets a bath every other day and then is in bed by 9:30-10pm every night!

Eating Habits
Weston is still nursing about every 3-4 hours during the day. He has been sleeping 6-7 consecutive hours at night, so he'll nurse before bed and then again around 5am! He's a good little burper too! He usually burps 3 times within the first 5 minutes after a feeding.

Things He Likes...
Weston is starting to enjoy his tummy time, IF kept short! He enjoys being rocked and still loves to be held very close when falling asleep. He's spending more time on his play mat and his bouncer seat, which he loves! He still enjoys his worship CD's and being sung too! He still likes his carseat and riding in the car looking out the window!

Discoveries
Weston has recently starting cooing and making new noises. He surprises himself with some of his pitches! He can push himself up while on his tummy. He has also discovered his tongue. He will stick it out a lot! He has started to suck on his hands and drool! He is recognizes our voices more and more, especially his Daddy's. He's known mine, but he's really starting to recognize Wes' voice!

Outings
Weston has had more lunch dates with Daddy and friends. He's been to the zoo. He's gone on walks. Helped Daddy train dogs. Gone to the golf course. Eaten at restaurants (Colton's Steakhouse and Midnight Owl in Arkansas, Jason's Deli, Ninfas, Wako Roll), and gone on some more Target trips.

Mama LOVES this naked Jbird!

All smiles in the morning!!

My 1st Visit to the Zoo!

Friday, March 23rd Weston had his first visit to the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco! We met Katie Gravens and her 6 month old, Abbie, along with Jenna Miller and her 3 year old, Kaylee! Weston slept through most of the visit, but he did like the orangutan, meerkats, giraffes, elephants, and wild turkey! Weston is such a sweet boy and does so well when we go on outings!

Here are some pictures with the orangutan!
