Look who's 4 months old!!
Another month has come and gone in the blink of an eye! Weston is now 4 months old on May 25th, 2012! This was the last month for him to be in Waco. He's all about his hands in his mouth as you can see by the pictures captured!
Mountainview Babies
Not sure what is in the water at Mountainview Elementary, but there sure was a baby boom this year! 2 teachers had babies last year (Elizabeth had Carson and Becky had Audrey) and 5 will have babies this year! Weston and I were first in January. Nicole and Campbell were next in February. Kaitlyn and Hadley were April. Morgan and Lucas were in June, and Kendra and sweet Harper will be August!! So fun to experience pregnancy and motherhood with these ladies! I will miss them and their babies!
GoodBye Party :/
Didn't think our goodbyes would come so soon, but after living in Waco for 8 years we decided to move back "home" to Nashville! We had many mixed emotions as we made this decision, but ultimately we wanted Weston to be closer to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Before we left, David had put together a "going away" party for us that was such a sweet blessing! We enjoyed getting to visit with all the special people that helped Waco feel like home for the past 8 years! When asked what we will miss the most, the answer is most definitely our FRIENDS. :( We are so thankful for the friendships that we developed and thankful that God allowed us to cross paths with such amazing people during that chapter of our life. I know that we will keep in touch with most, but it was certainly hard to say goodbye. I have a lump in my throat thinking about it. :/
Here are some pictures from that fun evening! Thanks to all who came and made us feel so loved!

Boat Ride!
Wes and I are quite the river rats, therefore it's important to us that Weston grows up on and near the water! So, before we left Waco, we took him on his first ever boat ride on the Brazos with David and Ross! Wes had been wakeboarding with the guys that morning and then I brought Weston out a little later! I'm thinking we have another wittle river rat!! :) He seemed a little unsure, but I think he liked being on the boat!
It's never too early to surf!!
The big boys!
Fredricksburg, Texas
Wes and I have lived in Texas 8 years and never been to Fredricksburg...that's a problem! We had always wanted to go, so one of our last weekends in Texas, Wes decided to take me! His parents had been in town helping with Weston and so they joined us as well. We had a wonderful time. It was a quick trip, but lots of fun! Wes took me to Enchanted Rock which he had climbed his JR year at Baylor! Such a cute and quaint town! I'm glad we got to experience it before leaving Texas!
Ready to do some shopping!
Talking to Bob!
LOVE my lil' bear!
Wes found the coolest little Hotel, Diner and airport in Fredricksburg! It was called The Hangar hotel and Diner. We spent many hours watching planes fly in and out!!
My First Mother's Day!
This Mother's Day took on a whole new wonderful meaning this year! Not only did I get to call my mother and thank her for all she's done and continues to do for me, I also got to enjoy "Mother's Day!" We started the morning at church where all moms were given a $5 Starbucks card...yes please! Then we came home and had a relaxing afternoon. We picked Angie up that evening from the Waco airport, and Wes prepared a wonderful steak dinner for us all! What a great and memorable FIRST Mother's day!! Thank you Lord for allowing me to be a mother...what a JOY!
Wes bought me the movie "The Vow" so good!
Delicious steak dinner! Thanks to Wes!
