Kangaroo Kickabout is finally open!

So I've secretly been counting down the days until the kangaroos came to the Nashville Zoo...and they are finally here! Weston and I met Kate and Malley there yesterday am and I'd say it was a success! They did a great job on their habitat area. Weston was intrigued, that was his first time seeing a kangaroo! Malley did a great job showing Weston how to hop like one!

Weekend @ the Lake with the Family!

Wes, Weston, and I had the opportunity to spend Wed-Sun at the lake house in AL. We had Caleb, Jenny, and the girls to ourselves Wed-Fri. then Mom, Rach, and Russ joined us! We had a great time being together, laughing, watching satellites in the sky-yes satellites Jenny :), watching Rachel wakeboard, watching Jenny slalom, watching Caleb surf, watching the kids run around and play together, swimming in the pool, having Grandaddy Harvey milkshakes and chili-cheese dogs at The Palace, watching Bev rope steers, watching sunrises and sunsets...it was a great weekend.

Weston Boy, 19 Months

A few photos to capture what this boy loves the most...being OUTSIDE or {oww-sii} as he puts it! These pictures were taken at the lake house this past weekend. We had a great time with Caleb, Jenny, Mia, Olivia, Rachel, Russell, and Nonnie! 

A Morning at the Arena with Aunt Bev!

While at the lake, we decided to take the kids over to Bev's arena to watch her practice ropin steers. Not sure who had more fun, the kids or the moms? Jenny and I both love horses and it was so fun to watch our kiddos sit up on Bev's big quarter horse, Stoner! Little cowboy/girl at heart!! 

Baby's 1st Pair of Boots and Wranglers!

After church we had a picnic in the beautiful almost-fall-like weather! Daddy had to go qualify for a golf tournament, so naturally we went shopping! GieGie came with us and we went to the Cowboy Store that was closing and we ended up with a new pair of boots and wranglers- thanks GieGie! 

Weston is so proud of his boots! After his nap time he woke up and said "boots on!"
