7 Months...Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!

Here are a few pictures to capture this precious treasure at 7 months old! He's sitting up, rolling over, loves to play with his toes, sucks his bottom lip in often (the new 'Weston face'), still nurses well and sleeps well! Loves to be rocked to sleep. Loves bath time! Takes 2 naps during the day.  

Such a total joy! We truly couldn't love him anymore!

Weston boy is 7 months and taking his first trip with friends to the lake house in AL! We've invited Jess, Tommy, and baby wesley (in the womb), Kyle, Kristen, and Eli (8 months). We had such a great time playing with the boys in the pool and laughing together! Kristen conquered one of her fears and jumped the huge cliff there (pregnant!) We didn't know it at the time, though! Here are a few shots from our weekend getaway...

Reading with Aunt Yay-Yay!

Weston loves time spent with his beautiful Aunt Yay-Yay! When Wes was playing in a qualifier in Tupelo for golf, Rachel spent the night with us! Weston enjoyed it thoroughly!!

2012 London Olympics

Weston had his first experience watching the Olympics at 6 months old. We started watching the opening ceremony on our beach trip, then we continued watching it every night once we got home. He enjoyed watching all the talented athletes. GO USA!

Beach Trip / 6 months

We had our first family vacation July 21-28th in Gulf Shores, AL. We stayed at Wes' grandparents condo at the Beach and Yacht club at Perdido Bay! It was a significant trip on many levels...
1. Weston's first trip to the beach!
2. Weston turned 6 months old during the trip!
3. I hadn't been to the beach since my senior year in high school...8 years ago!!
4. Our first family vacation just the 3 of us!
We had so much fun creating memories together! We spent very little time at the beach during the heat of the day, but would go out early in the am and late in the evenings. We loved taking walks on the beach at night with Weston strapped to us in the Bjorn. We found a sand-dollar while on a walk one night! We at at LuLu's (Jimmy Buffet's sister's restaurant) Crap Trap, and Cobalts. Cobalts was our favorite. It was least expensive and it was on the Bay so we could see the big fishing boats coming to and from! Wes enjoyed several rounds of golf with his friend Jeff Henard who was staying about 25 miles away! I did, unfortunately, get sick in the middle of the week, but I tried not to let it ruin our time. I had a fever and severe sore throat, but I still managed to sink my toes in the sand every day! I think we will make that trip a family tradition each summer!
